About Manic Urbanic
It's been a long time since I called NYC my home, but that's where it all started for me. Grew up in Queens and kind of soaked it all in from there. Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and the Stones were on the radio. Our mode of transportation were our BMX bikes or the subway. And the subway, well some of you may recall the fleets of painted trains. Visual pollution for some and to others - inspiration.
Left New York in my early teens and found myself on the West Coast. San Francisco was different than the city of my early childhood, but captivating nonetheless...different inspirations. Attended the School of the Arts and made many of my most enduring friendships.
Spent some time in Los Angeles and reveled in the music scene. As a drummer, I was enriched from the frequent exposure of some of the world's greatest musicians.
Made a permanent move to the Great Northwest and am now living in Seattle. It is here that I have decided to explore and share some of my creative ideas and launch Manic Urbanic.
Manic Urbanic will offer a variety of urban inspired visual and functional art. I have always loved the big city and continue to be inspired by her places, her sounds, her colors, and her people. Thanks for visiting.
